hello,has anyone recieved any civil war figures,since del prado changed owners,i got 2 figures about 3 months ago they were numbers 29 +30 and have herd nothing since are they going to carry on making the soldiers who knows,the 2 figures i got were the 54 massachusetts flag bearer,but marked on the figure as the confederate flag bearer,and the union artillery figure no 2 k.cailes@yahoo.co.uk

I can't answer you're question as I 've made appoint not to collect del prado
anymore - I started with soldiers of ww1&2 as the local newsagent was selling them - after collecting 50 that was it, no more, totally unreliable -
I have to say though I was surprised at a few that were good - but on the hole not worth the money - there were problems in the UK regarding distribution when I lived there, 10 years ago - things don't change do they !

Plenty has been said about DP. And I have said a lot. Some times they are very nice. Some times they are great for melting or repainting. check the older posts. Most unreliable company ever!

I got their new confederate artillery set at Christmas. The painting was ok not great. They are also big, like K&C big. The cannon barrel is great in my opinion since it's absolutely flat black and for the price it was a very nice set. I won't buy any infantry though as they would be to large.

Yes, they are. However, you can get them online from other sources than Berry, through various eBay sellers, for example.

the Barrel was flat black? did you get the parrot gun, the English Cannon or the french cannon?


We just took in new stock- some fo the items of there are no pics of are FANTASTIC- especially some of the flagbearers.

Help me out- did union Artllery use the french cannon from the Nap war time frame?
