You guys are talking about 2 different Krupp trucks. The LAH version

http://www.toysoldiersusa.com/cgi-local/show_detail.cgi?item_id=LAH079

has the driver and saluting figure fixed in place. The 4 figures in the rear are removeable as pairs. And note the LAH truck rear seating is configured for seating - not cargo as is the combat version WS037.

Just the passengers in back are removable and they are stuck together. The driver and guy standing are stuck in place. I own two of these.

Thank u Warrior

driver and standing officer must be glued?

There is no AK version - just an early war grey version. What is the number of the truck you are looking for??? Are you looking for the AK037 Opal Blitz??

If it is WS037, Good luck. I got the LAH version just before they were sold out as a cheap alternative to the WS037 version. Because of the fixed soldiers and the different configuration of the rear box, they don't really make good substitutes for each other.

But I think a good condition with box WS037 would be $250+. The weakness of the model is the rear tow hitch which is sometimes broken.

Hi Warrior
It will be repainted
and the standing officer will have to get out
so is the driver
mist on the artillery piece but
thinking of buying the Thomas Gun tropical one

The Krupp Protze 6 wheeled truck was a small vehicle. It frequently towed the 37mm Pak 36 which weighed 970 pounds plus gun crew and ammo.
Here is a photo.

I don't think it could haul the much heavier 50 mm Pak 38 at 1900 pounds along with it's crew and ammo - especially cross country in the desert sand. You may want to repaint a K&C pak 36 in desert colours.

If you can get a WS 37 for $250, run, do not walk as those are normally in the mid threes and up.

That's too bad. This seems like one release that sould be reissued. It was very popular.

Maple Leaf...I was only trying to fit in here and be helpful. I better shy away from answering questions since I'm rather new here. I surely hope I didn't cause you to go and purchase something based on my incorrect info? Again I do appologize...Sorry~

The Krupp truck has always been a popular item (especially since retirement) and a re-issue should be very popular. Just get rid of the painted windshield, please. The figures were great and very versatile. -- Al

U don't have to appologise Markeyt Maker
I appreciate the reply
I quess Warrior is right
So the project is on hold
Looking at different alternatives
U got A for effort just wrong number
Take care Maple Leaf
