Latest Warbird -- Westland Lysander (1 Viewer)

As a wise man (Louis Badolato) told me, you just can't have one!:)

Only two warbirds? I thought you would have triple that by now. Which versions of the P-51 & Stuka do you have? By the way, the Lysander is a great choice and will make a spectacular display piece.

Tally Ho,
Marc
Marc, I'm not exactly sure having too many warbirds is a sensible plan for my future display? Then again I like big...bigger...biggest!

The Wooden Stuka I have now is super nice and came in a SUPER box...unknown maker?

I'm super big on the AIR51A Ju87 on EBay too!

I WOULD TAKE THE SUPER BIG STEP AND SNAP UP THAT STUKA! Then again I love that Lysander and both of them can be displayed with an assortment of the figures released to date. What is the future master plan for the display(s) by the way? Louis & Brad were correct-you can not stop at one!

I'm worried about shipping?

Shipping is a concern. A couple of years ago I sold one I wasn't thrilled with and I sweated shipment until it arrived safe.

I would tell your seller to ship it overnight. That is what K C does and I believe one reason is to minimize the risks; the longer it is in transit, the higher the chance of damage.

As Marc said K & C do a great job on shipping, it's just the private sellers about whom you should be concerned. I don't know if you're buying these from overseas but overnight can be very expensive. I once priced it at $250.

Mark,

Thought you might be interested in this. The first photo is my first K & C warbird, a Me 109, made back in the 1980 or 90s.

The next two are a one (although one or two more may have been made) of a kind Me 109 (flown by Bartels in Greece) that K & C made when it reintroduced the line.

Brad...thanks for offering these to me for sale...I will buy the second one pictured, send me an invoice:rolleyes:

I'm worried about shipping?

Marc, damage on K&C wooden warbirds from shipping really is a non-issue. Cost to ship was $100 shipping overnight from Hong Kong. Send K&C an email direct from their website and they can provide you a quote to ship. The packaging is first class and the plane is tied down and surrounded in a cocoon of foam - my stuka arrived in pristine condition.

Mike
