As some of you know...my wife and I planned a trip to Maui for a month to look for a new home. We have found a house we both like. The home is located in Wailuku, it is very suitable for our two children, close to schools and such. Anyhow, I need to sell about 75% of the items I have purchased to date to reach a maximum down payment. Of course the Royal Navy Band, German Pilots, Axis Leaders ect...will not be sold {sorry} I have no intentions or exiting the hobby, only liquidating to acheive the current goal. I will be listing the items on Ebay on Weds August 11th. There are a lot of great items being sold. I will list them as group sales (lots) since there are far too many individual items to try and ship. All items are new in the original boxes. I'm keeping all my favorites including my Figarti Landing Craft. The money will be useful but I'm also simotaneously leaning towards high end sets (rare)...so selling works to accomplish two goals actually.

Well its good to hear that the hobby isn't losing an avid collector such as yourself. I saw that Figarti Landing craft at the Chicago show and was in awe how detailed and well done it was. That is a one of a kind piece that will surely be noticed and make a good conversation piece.

I have already scoped out locations in the new house for the new custom display/s...it's sort of like they did little things for me...odd little cut outs in the wall already to go. Believe it or not half of me was looking at houses with these features...CRAZY I KNOW!...or is it?
