Tony,

For the next Live Bid, could you maybe have a non World War II theme and perhaps include some of the glossies.

Brad

The stash is piled high with WWII however we are in the process of getting two collections of very old Glossy stuff. Some bands etc. tehre are also some nice foot figures, mixture of K&C areas.

Tony

Very interested in the bands. Glossy or the newer ones?

Guys

At 13.32hrs in UK we have a technical fault with the LIVBID system, bids are not coming through. IT guy working on it now should be OK soon

Tony

Can anyone tell me what you might expect to pay for an 88MM on ebay?(roughly of course)Thanks

Rob

Rob,

I don't have my most recent list with me but I'd say $300 to $400. However, I've found in tracking the Live Bid prices paid that what may be expensive in the US may not be so in the UK and vice versa. If my most current list is above $400, I'll let you know.

I won one at 315,00$US a few months ago, a great deal as they usually sell near or over 400,00$US.

Pierre.

Thank you both for your help, much appreciated.

Rob

I know Mike got back to your e-mail.

I have a tracking list of prices in UK and Europe and the 88mm has gone from anywhere £175 - £300. So not far away from the USA prices actually.

All the LIVBID system is up and running now so sorry for any delays.

Thanks Tony, thats interesting.Trying to decide whether to bid or buy from the states.Sounds like it will be close either way.

Rob

Fred,no i'm afraid it didn't come through.

Rob

Rob, I'll give it another try, if you don't get it maybe you can sending me a PM and I'll reply to it. Oh yeah, it'a about a K&C 88.;)

Fred

Because of the strength of the pound against the dollar, you might want to wait because £175 - £300 translates out to $340 to $587, making it cheaper to buy from the US.

Thats a good point Brad, and they do seem to be still available here and there.

Rob

Rob

put it this way Brad is even more true when there is talk of it going over the $2 mark!! Wish i was heading out to the US to do some shopping.
