I've gotten halfway thru a new illustrated book entitled Retake Arnhem bridge. Came across some very interesting factory pictures from the battle of Germans located around a printer factory and around some other factory type buildings. First thing that came to mind was your damaged building. With this in my mind for some diorama possibilities, will you be expanding on this building? My thoughts with this piece were always Stalingrad, but these pictures which I've not seen before open up some interesting Arnhem themed dio possibilities.

Hi there!
This brick factory is pretty typical in construction for most f the industrialized world from the end of the nineteenth century until the early twentieth century. There was some concrete construction by 1910 in the US, although block and brick still continued to be used well into the post WWII era. This building could be in Holland or Germany as well areas on the Eastern front.
I had designed it so I could sort of 'kit bash' my own work by removing the damaged end and extending the building with additional undamaged sections for use in North America. I guess I can't get the Model railroader out of me!

I have several projects for H&A moving along at the moment. Although we will be releasing a few new items in the next few months, the additional factory components won't be finished until next year. We will keep everyone posted.

By the way we have two finished factories in stock at the moment.

The damaged factory building is a favorite of mine...though I had to do some recent re-assesment on my total inventory of how many buildings I had...happy to say the damaged factory building will be with me until I die and is not part of my re-assesment plan. Another great piece...and I do mean great is the "Bailey Bridge" from http://www.oldtoysoldierhome.com You can view this bridge on their homepage.
