Just thought i'd let you all know that K&Cuk have just taken delivery of all the new AK and EA... How do i know i hear you ask? well whilst my job involves many hours spent driving around the uk (great fun with all the weather we had last week) i was very fortunate to be up in the north east today and thought it would be nice to pop in and see the very nice people at K&C uk... Got there mid afternoon to be greeted with boxes upon boxes of all the new releases... one word describes seeing them in the flesh FANTASTIC!!! so good in fact i treared my self to the new french camels(don't thing the missus will be happy).. The nevilles were working very hard completing orders and hopefully everyone who oredered them will have theirs to admire like i have today:)

Good news. I'm looking forward to getting my Mark II and the motorcycle combo.

They all sound great don't they.I ordered my Desert Vickers yesterday(and Monty as i don't have him yet)and am hoping they come today.Thinking of picking up the camels at the London show in March.I also can't wait for that AK truck, how good would that look in convoy?.

Rob

Great stuff. Thanks Tony. There is so much K&C stuff i want right now you might want to set up a deck chair in front of your tables, its going to take me ages to decide!

Rob

Hi Rob, how you doing?

In my reckoning at this rate you will need a large truck to take you and your purchases home from the London show!

Jeff

Hi Jeff hows you mate, yeah i'm saving up my pennies like a good boy and intend to buy a ***load of stuff!.Theres nothing like standing infront of all those tables and saying "i'll have that that and that"! So much more fun than online ordering. How about you?

Rob

Fine thanks.

I will limit myself to Napoleonics and SOHK. It is very difficult to do this with all the great stuff that is going to be there.

Jeff & Rob

I am jealous - I wish I could go to the London Show. :(

Ron

I know what you mean Ron,i always wish i could go to the Chicago show or the Symposium.

My new DAK items arrived safely today.
The PZII and the Motorcycle combo.
The motorcycle has gone straight to the top of my favourite pieces list! Though this changes on a regular basis :)
It's quite a heavy piece and feels quite strong. The figures are very dynamic and are fixed in position, so it's all one piece.
Packaging was excellent. The piece was safely stored in cut soft black foam. Much better than the wire ties we had last year.

The blackshirts too are very nicely painted with some good detail and excellent facial expressions. I especially like the bearded guy with the smg.

As for the Mk II. It's a nice piece with a bit of character. Not sure how different it is from the previous K&C mkII, which i don't have, but the tracks are improved from previous DAK releases.

All in all i'm well pleased with them. What a great Valentine's gift to myself! :D

Let me know when your package arrives - not sure how long it will take?

Will do Ron,hope you feel better soon

Does anyone think that the AK/EA range might grow and grow and challenge D-Day/Bulge as most popular?.Also is the new Desert Vickers the smallest Tank K&C have yet produced?.

Rob

I saw all the new AK stuff today and bought three of the camels. They look great - nice detail. The Mark II is a bit plain and somewhat disappointing. The track detail is not so hot, the gun looks a bit fake. I might buy it anyway for the Italian figures. I also bought the well which goes nicely with the camels. Bring on Speer! Really looking forward to that release.

I'm thinking of getting the camel sets. Are the camels metal? I thought I read they were resin.
