How many Napoleonic collectors plan to buy the New Napoleonic releases ?

Very cool figures in my opinion and exciting range to collect with the crossovers from AE and Life of Jesus.

Not me I'm afraid, I'd like to, but we are approaching D Day and Arnhem season, there's the Typhoon, and a very special set coming later in the year, all that is more than enough for my War Budget.

I think this new release along with the new diorama accessories that go with it look
awesome. Not a big Napoleononics collector but this one seems like a hot release !

I think its a very good idea for a series myself, for anyone who hasn't gone for the normal Napoleonic range this is very interesting. If I ever get some spare cash I'm in.

I thought the first release was very promising but nothing that I absolutely must have. I'm going to wait to see what future releases in this sub-series look like.

This is an unusual and exciting new line. Very interesting and colourful pieces. Although this is not an era I'll focus on I'd be surprised if I don't nibble and buy a piece here and there for representation at some point. At this time I've got a lot of other buying priorities. :smile2:

I am absolutely in..........and I have the desert buildings and camels to prove it

It's a very nice release but not for me at this time.
Budget, space and all those boring things mean that I will concentrate on building battlefield dios with Waterloo and the Peninsular war period soldiers only.
I am looking forward to seeing this release in London at the weekend though.
I always like to see the K&C set-ups and new stuff at the show.

As the NAPOLEONIC Era is my prime interest in toy soldier collecting, I will certainly be getting this new range.

I am still trying to obtain all the current releases of the NAP series, but I have really only been seriously collecting K&C for about 3 years, as most of my collection I have painted myself.

I plan on waiting a while to get this lot, as my prime spending is currently on the retirements, or like in Decmeber, gathering the old priced figures, so to get more troops out of my 'defence budget'. Good news is my monthly budget gets supplimented by my painting of figures for other collectors, many who pay me in K&C NAPs, instead of cash

One reservation I have with this new lot, is the couple of inaccuarcies that have been priously mentioned in this forum, like the Eagle on the flag, and the wrongly named Dragoon (actually a Guide) so lest hope we see no more of that :(

Very keen on these especially as pointed out they are bright, colourful figures that will blend with my AE backdrops, desert buildings and LOJ series. As an army builder these 7 figures, are all thank-fully individualistic, so no duplicates needed, which may not be the case for the second round of releases, there goes the bank balance again.I knew nothing of this period of Napoleon's life until K&C introduced me to it and it seems as I now discover this 4 years 1798-1801 via a dvd 'THE NAPOLEON COLLECTION' and a novel NAPOLEON IN EGYPT-by PAUL STRATHERN' its as if these sources are backing up K&C's series, which feels strange for me, as it is like K&C invented it and now history is recording it. I have always resisted Napoleonic series due the cost to produce the huge battle scenes, which I would have to have, but hopefully this new range is going to be more manageable, providing I am not tempted into dip into other campaigns to bolster the numbers of this series. So the dilemma in my collecting continues.
Cheers, Robin.

I am glad the series has some strong first offerings - I believe it will be more than a sub-series line.

Overall it is a very interesting direction for the Napoleonic Collector.
