Some of the more recent additions to my Imperial collection (sorry about the photos, they deserve better but only possible when I take them out of the shelves, delicate and time consuming operation...).

Now waiting for Mamelukes and Carabineers to arrive;)...

Beautiful, Paulo. I'd never been interested in Napoleonics, but First Legion and Imperial may be changing my mind.

Very nice, Paulo.

I also just got into the Napoleonics visiting the store in Emmaus, PA, London Bridge. Just could not resist.

Hi guys thanks.
Andreas, I though London Bridge were now out of stock or about to close. These are beauties indeed...

Regards,
Paulo

Great pickups! You cannot go wrong with Napoleonics for color and drama.

Cheers,
D

Really nice additions Paulo , I think the Gordon Highlanders colour party
is one of my favourite sets . [one of the first sets I ever bought also].

Paulo , it looks like you are knocking of the Naps catalogue pretty fast .
For me if I was only going to collect one range from Imperial it would
be these guys :).

Yes, well my purpose, indeed my main collecting purpose is to complete the Nap series (the sets that I want) and then if possible, to continue dabbling into other Imperial series, my favorite toy soldiers, although I also like many others...

Cheers,
Paulo

A very doable and satisfying quest. Fifty sets of Imperial Productions Napoleonics... all or most of which are still being produced, albeit in very limited amounts, and by the Cowes themselves.

In truth, some of the finest figures in the whole Imperial catalog are the Napoleonic range.

Also, methinks that, technically, all or most of the Town and Around sets could probably be considered Napoleonic too. Certainly that range identified as the "First Empire" series.

Collect them all!

I am not thinking of getting all of the 50 sets (add ons and a few others that are «duplicates» from the same regiments are off for now)... I hope I'll also need the room for sets from the Crimean War, etc... Thanks for the encouragement, I am more than half way now I think (twenty something Nap sets now...);).

Paulo

Those are great sets, the Bengal lancers are a special bunch, only have one set so far (the ones in green). Maybe some more after my Nap quest:D, if I can find them... Congrats on some great catches!

Hi Andreas,

Great pick ups! I hope to get my hands on the one Imperial set that has eluded me for so many years. The Heritage set of Camerons in Action. Love an instant display like that! I do enjoy seeing Imperial sets and figures being bought at the shows! I also enjoyed the discussion last night! Tallk to you again soon.

Dave
