Mario,

Are you buying three of each for the "Boilermaker Sqadron"?^&grin They are beautiful pieces and I would like to get one, but have to pay for my son's college tuition - plus, they are too big to sneak in without the wife noticing {eek3}^&grin

Interesting price point for a static model???..$2,000+.....I have collected a few O gauge Brass Locomotives and tender beautifully detailed engines with very intricate moving pistons, smoke units and digital sound systems....Also produced in China...Price is usually around $1400-1800....Go figure...^&confuse

Size matters, The LGB Astor models I own are in the $8,000 - $10,000 range... Go figure.

Because it's a Mercedes^&grin...but it will be "less expensive" as soon as the tires hit the pavement from the showroom floor or you trade it in :wink2:

Really? Try buying a custom Gulfwing.

Anybody has an idea about wingspan and lenght of airplane??
Anybody??

I think a wingspan of 74 ft and a length of 54 ft. In model terms at 1:30 30 in. wingspan and 22 in. length.

You would have to turn the box on edge just to get it through the door.

Is it too big for you Mr. Badolato?{sm4}{sm4}

Terry

Do they sell curio cabinet that the plane would fit in
I can't see a $2000 plane not in a cabinet for protection

I don't have ones that big but mine are where I can place 'em. Louis has some big ones, like a B 17 and one of the early Heinkels (a beautiful plane) and he doesn't have them in a cabinet.

If you don't have kids, pets or a jealous wife, you should be OK not having the plane in a cabinet :smile2:

Depends on what your definition of a cabinet is - Attic is a very big locked cabinet ^&grin

For contrast, this is the one in Louis' collection, a pretty remarkable plane.

Hello Everyone,
I wanted to let you know I have updated the official price of the HE 111 to $2250. When K&C first announced the plane the price was $1995 but since then there has been some price increases and the planes were also affected therefore the price change.
I have also updated the pictures on my website. I will enter the official quantities shortly.
By the way I purchased the AK version and think this is the best plane to date made by K&C. I am now just waiting for the pictures of the new Junkers I also ordered to come out.
Thanks,
Bill Sager
