Carlos posted the Figarti pictures thinking this thread was for all reports from the West Coaster. I will save and post all the Figarti photos in a new thread in the Figarti section, as well as report on their new products.:)

I don't think anyone sensible had a problem with the photos being posted here.
 
Yeah, like this is the first thread that does not follow it's intended theme, title or category.:rolleyes: Shame, shame, shame. Carlos should be hung, drawn and quartered and have all of his last remains scattered throughout the empire. Yeah, that's the ticket, obsess on something so minor it hurts.:D :p :)
 
Please, let's not nitpick. Thank goodness we have Carlos and Steven on the scene. They did a great job in Chicago and are doing an equally fine job here for those of us who couldn't be there.

I guess it was OK when Andy himself went on Honor Bound's thread to discuss their price increase at the other forum...I kind of wish some of the members would grow up a little...things have been getting a little immature. Also, for the benefit of folks who use these forums, none of the memory used for the extra size, multi color, never ending ,nonsense fonts are paid for by us. Nor are the repeat photos, when somone goes to reply to a particular post..Our forum hosts pay for all the wasted bandwidth . Just a thought from someone who has seen things fall apart recently here......Michael
 
Hey Michael,how do mean fall aprt?.I kinda get the impession everyone was getting on beter recently?.Are you reffering to Rons use of fonts?.

Wake up and smell the coffee, Rob. The big bold colorful posts proclaiming admiration of a little two bit egotistical long dead dictator have long gone past the stage of getting old. The K&C section of this forum used to be a great source of information and enjoyment, now it's mostly nonsense, but like they say, you can fool some of people some of the time...... I'll the let your pal finish it, he seems to like getting the last word on every thread anyway.

I don't like the tone I've just seen in these past few posts. If you have a problem with a particular member, I suggest you discuss with him or her personally. This is a free forum and with a couple of caveats we don't try to censor anyone here.

I think you need to calm down - not take yourself so seriously.

First off - by your comments alone - you need color - you need fonts - you need crazy and off beat - you need me on that wall ! (wait - thats a different movie point) - anyway, just relax.

This isnt a library - its a internet chat room on Toy Soldiers - I mean come on, with all the real things going on in the world....which I deal with everyday - this place is an escape from the reality of the outside world - hopefully you do have an outside world to go to???

My fun NAPOLEON is just that - relax - you want to be in a private club, then please go and join one - I belong to three. But, try to not be so uptight.

As for the insults on NAPOLEON - I assure you he accomplished more in his young life than you or I have. If you think you are better than him - then who has the real NAPOLEON COMPLEX ?

You know, people are different all over the world and somethings in this world are worth fighing for - color, fonts and a little NAPOLEON here and there - really isnt one of them.

Not take ourselves so seriously? So you were just joking when you gave Steven and Carlos a hard time about the Figarti photos, right??If not maybe an apology is in order. They went to the trouble to post all of those photos and then you give them a hard time. Oh, and I'm very impressed that you belong to three private clubs.

I have already express to Steven my appreciation for his reports and the same goes for Carlos - Figarti photos would be better placed on a Figarti Thread - that was my point.

As for my memberships - you missed the point entirely, it wasnt meant ot impress you - was to again point there are places for snobbery and "fun" places - I spend most of my time in fun places. I swear you guys need to stop wearing you emotions on your sleeves and relax.
 
Is there anyway to ignore posts involving acrimony? Frankly I am here to discuss toy soldiers, make friends and have a good time. I could do without the trench warfare between members.
 
I wish there were because, like you, I'm finding it really tiresome.

Me too as well - I just want to talk about Toy Soldiers (King and Country in particular) there is no reason to attack anyone personally.

In future - I will not take the bait and ingnore those posts.
