Hey all - have you seen the Egyptian pedestal/monument in the latest Collector. It's got a Napoleonic soldier carving "grafitti" into it? Does anyone know whether the pedestal will be released along with the soldier, or was it a one-off for the magazine?

It's seems like a great piece, and quite frankly, I'm not sure the soldier makes sense without if, as there is no other "defaced" Egyptian/Desert Diorama pieces. I think it would be great to have in a parallel diorama along side my Ancient Egyptian stone carvers and painters. I love the idea of showing the North African desert from AE to NE to AK/EA/IF.

I'd also love if K&C offered a version of the desert house (or shop?) with the "Il Duce" grafitti on it. Is the original still for sale, or was it sold at a show?

Never entered my mind that this stone backdrop will not be part of the latest offerings. Previous articles always alluded to these sort of items being used to compliment the series, like the temple ruins , so I am confident it is part of the range. Cheers, Robin.

Maybe all will be revealed tomorrow when 'DISPATCHES' are posted....
