A note of sarcasm from my friend Carlos:( .........No, I am not the ultimate show groupie........... and you did all of the wonderful pictures, Thanks... I posted pictures that Rick forwarded to me, and posted them when he told me too. I posted one of your pictures on Toy Soldiers Chat, and credited you for it. I even stated that your pic was better than his, so that is why I used it. Carlos you and I share a similar slant on this hobby, so please don't ruin it with a holyer than thou attitude. This is just toy soldiers, it don't mean nothin.

Over at Toy soldiers Chat I always complain about a lack of participation, yet there are hundreds of views, very puzzling. Then I got several PM's that stated they don't participate on Forums, because they think that we can become ridiculous about this hobby at times and they don't like the friction that often develops.

Sometimes I feel like a total idiot getting involved in these stupid go arounds. I don't participate as much as I used to, because I realized it is a total waist of life. In that I have so many enemies in this Hobby I know I have the right attitude. Stay the guy that got me interested in doing Dioramas in this Hobby and don't get caught up in the, "I am a cooler collector than you" mentality. If I misinterpreted your comments then I am sorry, and disregard my statements.

Your Friend
Alex

Excellent pictures buy the way!!!!!

We will get our turn with some upcoming Dioramas!!!!!!!!

I already ordered the SAS jeep, looks like I'm going to have to order the Patrol Boat. Does anyone have photos of the Figarti Firebase beyond just the shot of the 105 mm?

Louis,

Sorry I don't. It look's great and can easily be reused for other war scense. The lighting in the room wasn't very good and the pictures wouldn't have come out well.

Carlos

Thanks for taking all the great photos Carlos! I will just have to wait and see the Firebase. I suspect I will have to buy one of the production Pegasus Bridges. Heck for $400-$500, how can I pass.

Thanks Louis,

It's a labor of love. You're right about the Bridge. I don't have anymore room for stuff (where have you heard that before) but I'll find some anyway. LOL.

Besides, I'm not a purist and I’ll be using it for other diorama scenes not involving the British paratroopers. The bridge is too beautiful to not too!

I haven’t read all of the threads in the last few days but have you heard that Rick Wang, Figarti announced that Figarti Miniatures and Build-A-Rama will be doing some joint projects and co-branding of those projects only? The first will be adding some terrain at either end of the bridge.

Carlos

You really have to hand it to Figarti! They certainly took a big chance with

the Bridge, which I think will be a hit.

The same with the Vietnam Patrol Boat, a lot of people have requested Subs

and various other Naval items, I am allready making room for a couple of

those Patrol Boats alongside my Firebase.

What a terrific idea!

Njja:)

I for one will buy at least one of theses boats. I had the pleasure of a US Cost Guard Crew of our Brown Water Navy giving my team a ride.

Thank you Rick for doing this boat these guys don't get much notice, but they did a great job.

WOW. That bridge looks AWESOME. That will definitely be added to the collection. Was there any info on when it will be released to the public?

Chuck.......have you ever thought about putting together a book about

some of your accomplishments?

Every now and then you leak a little information...and it sounds like a story

that needs to be told! I would be among the first in line for a copy!

It would also help to let myself, a dealer of Figarti, know what is coming and when. Their distribution system leaves a lot to be desired. Seems like I am always the last one to know what they are coming out with next, unreal.

Dear Warrior,

I hope to fix the communication problem on this. With our plans to launch our monthly E-NEWSLETTER to both collectors and dealers, everyone should be updated timely. We WILL fix this problem, we simply have to.

Hi Ray,

The E-Newletter sign up is not out yet, however, as a dealer, you will get information from Hobby Bunker on sign up. As a collector, we will formally announce the sign up when it is available.

Thanks for your support.
