Well a little bit of good news chaps, according to Tony in the latest newsletter delivered by the good old Royal Mail, 75% of prices are dropping. As they say in the Tesco ads over here, ' every little helps'!

Neil they've dropped prices on 74% of items in the price list after reviewing the exchange rate and importing duties, not looked at them yet but let's be honest any drop is most welcome{bravo}}

Yes Neil, according to the newsletter they will be. I have not had chance to check them out yet.

Will believe this when i see it, interesting comment that it is because 'exchange rates and inporting duties' and 74% items coming down. why does the exchange rate and exchange rate effect only 74% of items and not all.

"Older" stock was all uplifted in price on 1st Jan this year. So other than VAT impact. Was pure profit driven. So any reduction is hardly a giveway.

Dont get excited about this!! We have done an IN HOUSE exercise and reviewed the entire ranges and taken into account many factors. This has showen in a MARGENIAL decrease on 75% of the ranges and infact an increase in some.......

We are now using a slightly differant exchange rate workingout. basically we have taken an average rate from the last 24months. This was then entered into our super computer and gave us the prices that we have.

These are on the July price list and on the site.
