Whats the total count after seven years??

Mitch, just checking the wife is not listening in^&grin:wink2:...70 vehicles, 4 (soon to be 5) aircraft, two Rockets, Nissen Hut,Church, 3 Landing craft. Didn't get chance to count figures but they are my main collection so quite a few.

My collection is no where near that extensive..but I do have quite a few...I have divided my collection into two groups: displayed in glass enclosed curio cabinets..and then, those still in their original cartons (which I am happy to have, but I dont get the enjoyment since they are out of site.)..I thought of displaying all of them on book case shelves, but, I wonder how you solve the problem with dust. Also, I have most of the new warbirds, but have displayed none because the are more wide and wont fit in my glass cabinets. I have some vehicles and mini dioramas in my basement on end tables..but they are all full of dust..and my old fingirs tend to break off smaller parts when I try to clean them. Any suggestions?

Well I have all my figures in cabinets that keeps them nice and dust free and for the vehicles I just use the soft hoover tool to vaccum the dust off the AFV's. I know lots of collectors who keep their items in boxes but I can't stand doing that and love having all my stuff on show.

Thats very kind of you my friend, its taken me about seven years to collect it all but I'm really happy with my collection. Now I have to find room for the Typhoon!:wink2:

Great Collection. The book cases seem to work very well with all of the armored vehicles. Is dust an issue there, as here in West Texas I " have to" display my collection behind glass otherwise in 3 days the whole lot would be covered !

Thanks PA, dust can be an issue but I find if I go over them with the soft vacuum tool it keeps them in good condition. I've now had a switch round in my office and have replaced this with two new bookcases to take a lot more items, I will post some more pics later today.
