New Toy Soldier Manufacturer Seeking Production Manager (2 Viewers)

Hi Guys,

The backstabbing by Vader has hit me hard and is not what I expected after reading his resume. I think his resume may have been fabricated as he was certainly not "trustworthy". I am thinking of sueing Freddy Kreuger
of Trust Me Executive Hire so if anybody knows a good fearless lawyer please let me know. My lawyer affordability factor is low.

The bad day has not been helped by the hostage taking of my family. I am writing this in a neighbours house as the SWAT team negotiates with some apparent former Royal Marines who flew in last night and took the wife
and kids hostage. Seems they are not after money. The head negotiator says their leader appears to have a Scottish accent and wants to trade my family for the Wizard. Since I have not found a Wizard yet I was wondering if anybody knows the contact details for any of the following :

Lt Harry Callahan
John McLane
or Martin Riggs

Thanks for your support but as you might guess I am having second thoughts about setting up as a manufacturer. Even if I find a Wizard it seems like a hard job. I think I will stick with my day job.

Regards
Brett

Brett, you may find the following company of some help to you. I have used them on several occasions and have always found them to be extremely efficient.

Kray, Corleone and Kray,
(The offers you cannot refuse)
Kneecap House,
Chainsaw Lane,
Much Slashing
Herts
There may be some delay at present due to an ongoing dispute with the RSPCA over some horse's head. Hope this helps. Trooper

My my, some excellent "Ideas" in this thread!

Given your predilection for including any and all views as you create the new firm, Brett, you wont mind if I add a few more? Such as:
- Figures & Vehicles that are "expandable/shrinkable" so that any scale compatability issues can be tweaked by the collector according to individual needs
- Figures be anatomically correct, to ensure utmost realism and appropriate positioning
- Assurances with each piece that a collector can always sell back to the manufacturer at a guaranteed nice profit, whilst still ensuring that all pieces remain permanently active and available to new collectors at original list prices

lll try and come up with some other 'value adds'. In the meantime, keep up the good work!

What if each vehicle came with a bonus sheet of self adhesive rivets? That way you could just stick on as many as you like.

And make sure you provide two sets of logs so the buyer can place them on the correct side of the tank for either the eastern or western front, because we all know how important proper log placement is...........

As a dedicated rivet counter, I feel I must point out that log placement on the Western front could be on either side, depending on the date and location. Logs were carried on the right side prior to August 22, 1944, when orders from Hitler changed the placement to the left side. This was generally the way the logs were carried except for Heavy Tiger tank units at Arnhem, who carried them on both sides during the duration of that campaign. Now, let's keep this straight. :wink2: -- Al

Careful guys. If we keep coming up with the perfect product at the perfect price (ie. free) some collectors will have nothing left to complain about. The fun would just go out of the hobby.

Rivet decals a brilliant idea.

Well, Brett, I know where to start. You can make a whole lot of Aussie artillery sets with shirts off toiling in the sun and sell every last set to a forum member here.

Don't forget to produce every-single-vehicle in all variants and liveries and get them out in three months time. Yesterday would be preferable. I know a guy whos just gotta have them.

I agree. Solves the distribution problems if all products go to one collector. I wonder who you mean (no need to PM
me !!) ?.

Hi Guys,
After 10 years as a dealer and a few years as a forum member I have decided to start a new Toy Soldier company that will produce :

the best figures,
best vehicles,
best aircraft,
best quality at lowest prices,
best variety of poses
and largest selection of series from ancient times through to Iraq and Afghanistan.

Planning is well under way. I have experts examining every post ever made on this forum so that they can recommend which items to produce first and at what price.

I appreciate "affordability" is important and am thinking to introduce a new concept where we have three
different price levels for the same item. The customer will pay what he can afford. This will involve submitting details of income and expenses. However initially we will use previous posts to determine what the collector can afford. For example a Tiger tank will be priced at $599, $299, and $149. Those who have previously posting about buying a wooden warbird, "shock and awe" item or FL vehicle (sorry guys ^&grin) will pay the higher price and we are working on the affordability formula for others.

As you can appreciate factory production is the vital ingedient in this exciting new venture. With this in mind we are seeking your help in locating any of the following :

Harry Potter recently graduated from Hogwarts Academy
Merlin of Camelot
The Wizard of Oz (hey I know he is local but Oz is a big country)

We are currently in discussions with Gandalph the Grey but it appears he is under contract to Peter Jackson.

I would prefer Merlin due to his association with King Arthur and his Knights as he will have more of a military background that Potter.

I have already received reliable information that our likely main competitor has been seen running into walls at London train stations.

Obviously this information is highly confidential so if you have the contact details of any of the above please PM me.

Regards
Brett

GEE BRETT,

I THOUGHT I WAS CRAZY! YOU MUST STAY ON YOUR MEDICATION AT ALL TIMES. NEVER STOP TAKING THEM. SIMMO.{sm2}
