The Anglo Zulu War- special commissions (1 Viewer)

Ooooh! The one in the middle is the one Len used for the marching sailors in the Boxer series, with a grey base, of course!

Dave

Well spotted Dave, we'll see more of him in a little while:wink2:

As correctly noted by Dave ( churchmouse1 ) the idea for this set came from the BOXER REBELLION series, set# BS7 – GREAT BRITAIN. ADVANCING SAILORS.

Martyn,

A bit mind blowing really isn't it! {eek3} These are all specials then?

You do need to formulate all these photos of your collection into a book for the rest of us to drool over. :wink2:

Many thanks Jeff, I had a long chat to Len Taylor this afternoon and he remembered producing the sets for me but had forgotten just how many there were ^&grin

Here's a set and I don't remember off hand who or where I got it from and I'm not sure of the box it came in. I believe I may have got it from ebay. Also showing a single figure I picked it up and once again not sure of where I got it but I know it's part of set HZ11. Borrowed one of the two walls I have of the two sets I own for the photo. Once again Len was at his best when providing a different touch to his sets.
