Yeah, ive noticed other sellers as well trying to sell K&C items for ridiculous prices. As Michael Caton of the Castle would say, "he must be dreamin"!

Hi Guys,
He is trying to get $150 for current single K&C AK and NA figures.

He is a new Ebayer. Something strange. Has sold a K&C Hurricane without box for $61 and now has another without box for sale at $700. Doing same with WWI Brit three figures sold for $81 before and now listed at $300.

However even more interesting is the feedback links. If you look at his buyers and their feedbacks there are multilple links between many of them. I started to write them down but there are too many connections. Some of the same Ebayers appear in 3 or 4 of his buyers feedbacks as well. Even to the point of a number of the same deregistered Ebayers appearing in different feedbacks. Another thing that connects them is the low feedback numbers, private listings and that all joined this year with most feedbacks being in last three months. Of his 8 buyers who have bought a K&C item not one has ever bought another K&C item or toy soldier. Note how many have bought hair straighteners from the same person. No idea what it all means but never seen anything like it before.

Regards
Brett
PS Brad and Wayne - your comments noted !!!

Hee-whack-ado! Perhaps the buyers/seller are all related to each other, sort of an inbred family e-bay ring thing. :D -- Al

Hair straighteners - can't be Howard. {sm4} But they would have a better chance selling in western Oz if he offered a free stuka with every purchase {sm4}

I know some of these are a bit on the rich side but some of them are not too bad, I'm after another Hurricane so have just written to him^&cool

In all fairness, he has "best offer" as an option. He may be using the high prices to get to the top of the "highest price first" sort option so there may be method to what you are seeing. You don't know what he's willing to accept as far as offers go so don't be so quick to judge. You'd not want somebody on an online forum in a small hobby bashing your listings... Just my 2 cents.

No one fell for my little joke!^&grin

He wants 700 Aus dollars for that Hurricane, that's over four hundred quid isn't it???

Gideon,
I did think carefully about my post but the feedback activity on this seller and his buyers is extraordinary. Regarding being "fair" and "bashing" the more I look at the feedback the more I judge his activity in a negative way.

His feedback can be split into three groups.

First group at the start is sellers leaving feedback for him. All from China and most selling items for a few cents (ie stylus). Feedback boosting ?

2nd group is the K&C buyers. Not one has bought K&C before or since and if you look at their feedback there are multiple connections between them.
Out of 8 K&C auctions 2nd highest bidder is same on 6 of them.

3rd group is most recent and all are "private" items. However as an example if you look at last buyer (on 7 DEC) that buyer has 7 buyers that are the same as from our seller. He has totally
30 feedbacks but only left one for others (our seller). The 7 include our sellers first buyer. All last buyers items are also "private".

One of his buyers on 23 NOV has a feedback of 21. Five of those are also K&C buyers from our seller. r

The first buyer has left feedback for our seller and his most recent two buyers. First buyer has a feedback of 49 and half his feedback has been left by sellers who are no longer registered.
This 1st buyer also was the first buyer from the buyer on 23 NOV !!

Our seller has a feedback of 27 but only left feedback for 11 others and these were all the guys from China who he "bought" from (bought all items in 2 days). He has never left feedback for somebody who has bought from
him. He also has a perfect seller rating of 15 in each category.

Will be very interesting to watch this seller. Oops spoke to soon. Whilst writing this he has taken offers of $1 for the Hurricane, French WWI Mounted figure and 3 WWI Brits !!!.
Free postage of course.

Update : The seller, a member or the seller's family, a co-worker of the seller, or one of the seller's friends placed a bid on their own listing. (My comment : Doubt they are responsible for all the strange feedbacks).

Brett
