Hey everyone, been a while since I posted!^&grin
I managed to get an apprenticeship in childcare so have been busy working, 5 days a week, xmas holidays start Friday so will be on here posting hopefully!^&grin
Just wanted to say that I had not ought any king and country directly from K&C UK all year until last week and this week when I picked up the final items for my XXX Corps diorama before (hopefully) the new sets come out in 2012! In the space of two weeks I have ordered the mp saluting (By far one of my favoutite figures, the pose is so elegant!), d-day british casualty, british grenadier, monty and piper, Winter german with k rations (which I think is bigger n chunkier than all the other winter figs^&confuse), cold feet warm boots, over there, and the walking german from that iconic image! Winter american mp on bike and walking artilleryman 3x Cobblestone mats which are sadly out of stock!
A JG Miniatures tree, some jg winter bushes and grass, a jg telephone pole (which will be followed by several more, they are great!)And the sp church! 8 bits of fence, gate, and 2 pieces of wall!^&grin
Looking forward to hopefully seeing some market garden sets in 2012!^&grin That cwt truck is a must have! Just hope we get some figs to fill the back up with!(Hint Hint Andy!):wink2:
Also cannot wait to see some american paratroopers! That's what my xxx corps diorama is missing! It has, british (English, Scottish, Welsh, Irish) Canadians, French, Germans, even has a British woman! But americans and maybe some dutch resistance figures!^&grin
Would love to see General Gavin make an appearence in his combat gear, I have the previously released figure and it is great! Paras in m43 jakets would fit in brilliantly! Would like to have some sitting paras in m43s to sit on some tanks, or even in greatcoats but without the winter whitening! ^&grin
Merry Christmas everyone!^&grin
