Like I said, I have a fraction of what others have but here goes. The first one is from the Palio Siena series. Louis can give you the full story but I believe there were four of these. Sorry for the quality.

This is from the Camel Corps. This particular one is the Skinner's Horse Camel Squadron. This is probably my favorite K & C piece in my collection (after the planes) and, yes, I mean my whole collection. Andy allegedly "borrowed" this from Ron Ley of Somerset :)

Unfortunately, it's the only one I have so if anybody has any more.....

This is from the series Andy did celebrating the Hong Kong Police. There are several more in this series, dating from around 1993 on. Sorry for the quality.

82nd Airborne. These are but two of several. Quite different.

Thanks Brad and no need to apologize for the quality I appreciate the time and effort and see why the photo of the Camel Corps is your pride and joy....The Lt.

Hi Brad,

Very good looking Skinners Horse Sower! I would love to find one of those.

All the best

Dave

Thanks Joe and Carlos. Before I turn in, here are a couple of Napoleonics. The figure on the left is from the Old Guard set and the one on the right is a Belgian Militia Cavalry Officer, dating from 1993 and 1994, respectively.

I will post photos of the bands I have tomorrow.

I love the figure from the Palio Siena serie.

I saw the auction on eBay Italy but as you had already bidded on it and as I do not bidded against friends... except for SOHK items as I do not have friends in that case... :D

Pierre.

Hi Pierre,

I am gald to see you posting again. What can you tell me about the Herald figure from Italy?

All the best

Dave

Hi Dave,

Only that the figure was on eBay Italy about six months ago (or so).

I remember having see four figures from that serie, on eBay, near two years ago. I was tempted but the final bids were too high :p

Amitiés,
Pierre.

Hi Pierre,

I have never seen those they are very nice but as you know the Camel mounted Skinners Horse Sower is more my speed. I will be looking for one of those. Talk to you later.

Have a great holiday

All the best

Dave

It would be great that K&C releases all the figures in that brochure.

The Seaforths and the Camel Corps are absolutely amazing. At the time (1989), they were already stunning. Imagine them with today's standards.

Pierre.

Assuming I have the time tonight, I will post some of the Seaforths that I have, probably around 30 or so. Again, I don't have a huge collection of the old glossies but like to share with you guys what I have.

Hi Bard,

Thanks for sharing I will keep a weather eye open for them! Very nice indeed!

All the best

Dave

I just found this from an email I received from Louis when I bought the Palio de Siena:

In 1996, finally, two sets of odd figures were added that set the high water mark for K&C’s glossy production, the four medieval Standard Bearers from the Palio Races in Sienna (produced upon a commission from Toy Soldier Magazine) and “Les Miserables”, the figures from the poster for the musical (produced upon a commission from the producers of the musical for the Hong Kong stage, and available only in Hong Kong). The four Palio Standard Bearers are each individually sculpted in separate positions, wear four historically correct heraldic costumes and carry four different heraldic banners. The sculpting is good, but not exceptional by today’s K&C standards, but the glossy paint jobs are the equal of any of the present exceptional matt production.

Here are some more Napoleonics, including the man himself in the blue uniform of his Imperial Guard mounted on Marengo and then in the green uniform of the French Artillery. The figure in the front is a Waterloo Highlander.
