:) You Notice the German soldier Smoking, while carrying a Gerry Can? I think that's a "NO' NO. for that German Soldier!

That was the second thing I thought after "great set".
He is definitely not the smartest guy in the group.
Very short life expectantly in combat!::eek:

Depends really - diesel is not actually flammable and it is quite safe to smoke around whilst carrying just 1 can of it. People seemed to have different attitidues to safety years ago - I remember my grandad using a blow torch to ignite the fireworks every November 5th Bonfire night! This was after he had used a can of petrol thrown onto the bonfire to ignite it earlier!

Even with petrol, it takes a fair bit to get it to light up from a cigarette.

One of the joyous aspects of my job is making petrol bombs and chucking them at cops during training sessions (picture it, next time you're pulled over for speeding). Getting them to stay alight, even with a burning wick inserted in the bottle, is a bit of an art form.

Anyhoo, got to get down to the burns unit now for my treatment....

Speaking from experience, it's the vapours that ignite first

Regards

Jeff

Gentlemen,

I have it on good authority that the white cross on the can denotes it as a water can. The cross was used so the cans wouldn't get mixed up. After all who wants to drink water laced with gasoline. :D Jim

You know I never even looked at the picture but yes it's definitely a water can - Johnny you goofed my son again!

I noticed that too!!!!!!:D
It's not a German soldier!!!!!!!! Its actually an Allies spy!!!!!!!! When he gets to the depot, he will throw his cigarette into a can of petrol, and the whole place will blow sky high!!!!!!!!!
Very Sneaky!!!!!!!!:D:rolleyes:

The jerry-can the smoking crewman is carrying is marked with a white cross which would indicate water, not fuel.

Jim and greycap beat me to it; he is carrying H20, not gas.............

Me too - Never knew about the White Cross being H2O - You sure learn things on the forum.

So i guess that we have to make the security hut at the entrance to the estate that K&C UK is based in fire bomb proof as well as teaching them to detect American speaking hoodlums.:D

One of the peculiar things about this crew is that you have three soldiers apparently working and two lollygagging.
