Very nicely done. I'm a sucker for anything with Fokker Triplanes. I like the guy scanning the skies. -- Al

Thanks Al, Rod and Louis

This is a crazy hobby..... you know we are big WWII guys, but when beautiful pieces are done like this, it just draws you in. We never paid much attention to JJD because he didnt do WWII, then we met him at Hackensack, saw the stuff in person and we were hooked.

Love it! Great use of Nick's buildings- funny how I had asked about them last time{sm4}. Do I win anything{sm4}?
Great as always,
Sandor

BSP usually works GRITTY, but John's work seems to lend itslf to PRETTY, and I know a lot of you out there like PRETTY. {sm2}

So we I hope we have shown our versatility and you are enjoying our PRETTY stuff....Well maybe there is a touch of GRITTY :wink2:

Great work! It would be nice to see a couple of triplanes lined up in that photo.

I liked the pictures of the diorama so much, I ordered the JJD German armored car and meteorologists set today.:wink2:

The armored car is a very nice set. I was very pleased when I purchased mine. The detail is excellent.

I love these scenes. The bike, the buildings, and those wonderful JJD pieces come together nicely.

Nick and I are hooked on this WWI theme, so we will do more with it in the future. As we gain more resources and knowledge of the subject matter, hopefully we will improve upon our initial offerings.

And the SCW fits well with our interest in WWII, so we will work with that also.

We are glad you are enjoying our newest work and direction.

We are still doing The Great Crusade, but I think we are going to shorten it a bit, it is too much work. It is taking away from our ability to produce highly detailed set piece scenes.

We feel as though we can take out attention to detail up another notch, our modeling roots are coming full circle, after exploring many directions.

Speaking with John has inspired us and given us much food for thought. Alex

Do not forget that John was born as a scenic artist and set designer. I am sure that if it not strongly engaged in his range releases would be the most talented display-model maker on the scene. His skill is amazing and WWI airplanes confirm it. Source of inspiration for all of us.
