I did a search for AK36 at all the normal places (K&C, Treefrog forum, Bob Sager, etc.) and I found nothing concerning AK36. The series goes from the motorcycle combo AK35 to the Opel truck AK37. What is the story about AK36 or did we already discuss this and I am just slow enough not to find it on a search of the forum or to remember the thread:confused: :eek: :rolleyes: :)
 
Well, I was hoping for a Panzer IV short barrel version or maybe John Gamble was hoping for more Black Shirts. But, I guess a Nazi super weapon will do.... NOT.:p :)
 
You know - I think WS100 will go down as a special term in the Toy Soldier Hobby - dont you??.....:rolleyes:
 
New members of this FORUM years from now - will ask "whats this - oh another WS100 thing???" ;)
 
As far as missing things, did we ever figure out what happened to collector fig. 11 and 12?

I wonder if it is that standing saluting figure in the greatcoat that can be seen in the Opel Blitz diorama?
 
Hi Guys,

Allow me to clear up a few minor mysteries that have appeared on this thread and elsewhere...

First of all the “missing” AK36...that is the code number we allocated to Rommel’s “Fiesler Storch” which is still (after what seems like years) at final prototype stage. And, before you ask, I still, alas, don’t have a release date.

As for CF11 and CF12...Originally these were going to be Club figures of “Richard The Lionheart” and a seated Napoleon. What happened is that after we produced them we could not make up our collective minds to release them as “exclusive” club figures or open them up to the “general” collector market. We still cannot...so...they are in the “pending” dept.

Now, who says Andy is unresponsive?

maybe the ak 36 reference is a big surprise like a storch or a limited edition:confused:
