For the Crimean range.Won't be long now i guess?.Have many of you done what i did and preordered the whole set?.I am really looking forward to this fresh new range and hope it goes from strength to strength.The new sets announced for December also sound awsome.

Hi Rob,

Yep, I took the plunge and ordered the full set of Crimean War figures and am eagerly anticipating their arrival. Fortunately I was able to hide the full cost from my wife behind an slightly optimistic estimate of the pound to Aussie dollar exchange rate.

I hadn't realised the December releases had been announced. I checked the K&C UK website, but couldn't find the announcement. Can you tell me where to find it, or do you have inside info?

Hi Adrian,nice to here from you mate.I don't think there are any pics of the December stuff yet.But The details were in the most recent newsletter from K&C UK.Here they are in a nutshell:

Lord Cardigan on Horseback slashing at Russian gunner
17Th Lancer,reeling back after being shot in eye
Russian Gunner running from Cardigan with back wound
Russian gunner firing at Lancer
Russian gunner defending against slashing lancer
Russian Gunner advancing with fixed bayonet

I ordered the full set as well. Thanks for the tip on the December set. The suspense is killing me. I keep dusting off the shelf awaiting its arrival. :D

Thanks for the info Rob. You're right, the December releases sound great. Added to the first set they should make for an awesome display. How can I not buy them? I'm sure she'll see sense.

Mind you after reading a few accounts of the charge it doesn't sound like Lord Cardigan did much slashing once he reached the guns.

I had ordered the four (4) sets. Thanks to Tony (he knows why).

I intend to continue collecting that line as the figures/sets are produced for and sell by K&C UK.

I just hope that the same offer will be make for the december's releases (i.e. no shipping fees if all the sets are preordered).

Guys

You guys on tenterhooks we are we cannot wait to get it in here. We have a huge area of the warehouse ready for it and the preorders will be going out thick and fast. Dispatch Dave is as we speak in Dominican Republic charging his batteries in readiness to get them all out. we are getting them in at the end of May / early June TBC. They will go out the very day they arrive.

Decembers are being designed by Andy as i type this (well not literally, as it is 23.45 in HK). And The guys in Chicago will be the lucky ones to see them in the K&C UK room along with a few bottles.

I am in HK in October to talk through with Andy and my bro the next wave for June 08.

The way that it has been received by the collectors means that we are definatly on for a good range here.

Yes that would be good but no mention about the free shipping in Tony's post at 11:41.

Maybe two (2) Mars bars! :rolleyes:

Having just picked Mike up off of the floor cracked up laughing..........christ thought the guy was going to have a HA....:D

I would like to make it very clear to the forum that i have and never had any feelings for Horses other than betting loads at Goodwood and the odd £50 on the national!!.

It was never proved and i was found not guilty when i walked through the horses fields as a short cut for school. The fact that the Fillys all were smoking cigarettes, and relaxing on hay bails had NNNNNnnnnnnnothing to me, ma lord.:D

I WOULD LIKE TO POINT OUT THE ABOVE STATEMENT WAS AS A JOKE, THERE WERE NO HORSES HURT IN THE CREATION OF THIS JOKE AND MY SCHOOL WAS NO WHERE NEAR A HORSE FIELD...........just up the road from an all girls school but we wont go there.
