Jackson (John) and I have set 1173 Black Watch, Egypt, 1882, in this order. An attractive set indeed.

The order includes two special non-catalog band sets based on catalog set 1119 Greek Evzones. Here is the set for MikeNick (Mike) and yes Jeff, I also happened to order one for me too.

Beautiful sets, as usual. The Indian Army sets stand out. I find the really unusual sets of Tarzan and the Tiger hunt to be absolutely fascinating. Mike, are you sure having this much fun as an individual citizen in California isn't against a Joe Friday penal code law of some sort?:wink2:^&grin -- Al

Thanks Al, they are really nicely done . It probably is, but as long as no one turns me in, I should be allright.

Buster (Fred) and I ordered this special version of set 1010 Royal Marine Light Infantry. It normally comes with an officer, flagbearer, bugler, and six men. This version has two flags and two drummers. Fred also ordered one extra sergeant and three extra men.

Thank you Jeff. Yes, it is nice to be able to play with other collectors orders, as well as my own. I just hope they can't tell that I have been playing with them.

It's too late. I agree that it is a great looking set and I got one for myself so that I wouldn't have to play too much with yours. The two drummers are a nice touch. I already have a two flagbearer version of this set with three extra men. Bob Walker wants me to bring it over to his house on Saturday; he is planning to buy it to give to a young man for Christmas.

Speaking of Bob Walker, here is set 1124 Royal Horse Artillery Gun Team that he ordered.

Four of us (Bob, Fred, John, and me) also ordered this special, non-catalog set of Royal Horse Artillery escorts to go with our gun teams. Love that officer.

This is a special paint variation of set 1156 French Chasseurs Alpins where the figures have dark trousers rather than white, as in the catalog set, for Al Fisher. Several of us are also ordering this set like Al's in 2014, but with Adrian helmets.

Here are two sets of number 1100 Cameron Regiment, colonial for Jackson (John) and me. I also ordered two extra men to go with my set so that I could display them with the men at the slope 3 X 3. Love those helmets.

In the second box, the 2 Camerons and 2 Liverpool Volunteers are for me, as are 2 of the Royal Marine Light Infantry; the other 4 Royal Marine Light Infantry are for Buster (Fred). Close-ups of Fred's RMLI.

Even though I only collect matt figures I enjoy these threads of yours Mike. Hiriart make some very interesting sets of figures which are well painted and presented. There is a dealer at the London show who has a varied selection of these and I'll take a few photos this Saturday of whats on sale.

Thanks Jeff. I am looking forward to your Hiriart and others photos from the show. If you can pick up the dealer's business card and pass the information on it to me, I would appreciate it. Thanks again.
