New K&C Crimea typical English “Line” or “County” Regiment (1 Viewer)

I would think the spare canon balls they are air dry clay, milliput or similar that have been rolled to make the effect. quite simple and cheap to make.
Mitch

Actually, they are real canon balls which have been left out in the rain and have shrunk, a very clever idea imho.

Jeff, or maybe the cannon balls are not normally that small but it was very very cold in the Crimea!!{eek3}^&grin

I emailed Lord Tony of Nevilleshire this morning, so maybe if he gets chance he'll post. But I guess you could indeed make these with Milliput or something of that kind, add a nice coat of Vallejo metal type colour and you've got cannon balls.^&cool

Just heard back from K&C UK HQ and the cannon balls were indeed made by hand using some sort of clay, he did a pretty good job of them didn't he.

yeah made with 'early learning centre model clay' air dry type. Makes it easy for scale smaller and large ones for differant size cannons.

Hi,
I have to say I like the new line Regiment releases very much. Just reading 'To Do and Die' by Patrick Mercer, I think the figures set off the book exactly (and vice versa!)
