At the weekend my very understanding missus surrendered a display case in our dining room to me for my Toy Army Workshop collection (my wife actually purchased many of these sets as presents for me over many years and as a result this collection is very special to me, she also likes them very much too!)

So here is my collection altogether in one place. I reckon John Jenkins SE5 will top this display off very nicely:smile2:

Rob mate,
Glossies, Glossies!!!!!!!!! What is the world coming to. Lawrence Lo has been trying to get me to buy some of his glossies for years. And now you have gone over to the "dark" side, well maybe not the dark side that is something else, but maybe the "shiney" side.^&grin^&grin
Great showcase and collection cobber. Have a great Christmas.
Cheers Howard

Thanks mate, having trouble with photobucket but will keep trying as I have loads to post, you have a fantastic Christmas mate and hope 2013 is a great one for you!{bravo}}

Sorry Howard, either my photo skills are crap, my camera is crap or photobucket is playing up! But you get the picture mate!:wink2:

All the best

Rob

Rob.....wow, wow and one more wow, as a Great War freak all of those I wish I had, but not a fan of the glossy stuff, don't suppose any of them were ever done in matt finish (I wish) just the same the vehicals, guns and etc are all on my wish list..
Wayne.

Fantastic looking TAW collection, Rob. Gotta like the glossy.:wink2: I really like your guns and crews. I almost bought a TAW staff car like yours many years ago, but the model had some slight damage so I held off. The dealer never got another one so I never did get it and it pains me that I didn't. The staff car is a really fine piece. ^&cool -- Al

Hi Rob,

that is a beautiful collection you have there.
I really, really love that stuff.
And beside the magnificent TAW sets, what a stunning cabinet to display them in.

Cheers, and Happy Holidays :salute::

Thanks Wayne, I love TAW's product just so good, am afraid it was all glossy and no matt. So I have TAW for WW1 and K&C for WW2. :smile2:

Thanks Al, yes the guns were one of the best things they made imo, wish I'd got more now! Very little TAW seems to appear on ebay now. And yes, got to love that staff car.

Cheers guys

Hi Rob,

Your TAW collection and the cabinet in which it is displayed is most impressive! And, I must say, to know you have a glossy collection renews my faith in you. ^&grin:wink2:

The TAW figures are nothing short of wonderful and I am very pleased you have them. My compliments to you for owning an outstanding group of figures! They are beautiful.

Warmest personal regards,

Pat :)

Thank you Pat that's very kind of you indeed and much appreciated.

May I take this chance to wish you all on the forum a very happy Christmas and a wonderful new year.{bravo}}

Rob ... you mean you're getting only one SE5 {eek3} ? What happens when the second is released ?

Wishing you and your good lady, A Merry Christmas and the bests for the new year.

With a series like this I can see why Glossy appeals, if I was going to convert it would be over this exciting collection, thanks for showing Rob, cheers, Robin.
