See now I want to collect these when you get these results, will it never end, cheers, Robin.

In the 3rd picture in the first post there is an indian standing by the tower leaning on a rifle.Where is he from?I have a 40mm like that but haven't noticed this larger version.
Mark

thanks OD, Mike, Robin and Marco for your nice comments and thanks again for the likes.

Marco the Indian is part (like the one on the tower) of the WI.01 set from the old unforgettable beloved Jenkins/Frontline collection.

Cheers

Carlos I looked at pictures of the Jenkins/frontline sets. FRENCH-FORT-ON-THE-LAKE-04.jpgand don't see this guy.

that figure has always been one of all-time favorite poses...

he reminds me a lot of this British Line Infantry figure from Snow Shoes...

I wish John would do a similar version of this Indian in the future...

it is a great pose...his stance looks so reflective...almost sorrowful...I could just imagine a little scene of him standing over an Indian casualty...so poignant...

you can almost see a tear in his eye...

I agree, the art of Robert Griffings would be a great source of inspiration, his pictures have always enchanted me.

Mr. Colt....take a good look at the roof on the blockhouse...Carlo made this himself...and it is nice...really nice...the craftsmanship is factory quality...I know...he was generous enough to send me one...along with one to forward to Fraxinus...it's quite spectacular...his work is very precise!
