Dispatches are up! (1 Viewer)

Quite a varied batch.

A bit of a change in that the 2nd releases of Custer and Crimean came out in the month after first releases.
For those interested I noted many of the Napoleonic French Imperial Guard (ie 56 - 63) were sold out already
when Desptaches were sent out. If people are after those dont wait too long as dealers will only have their
current stock.

Isn't this just great! ^&cool and may it long continue.. :smile2:

Rob, great work as always posting the dispatches ..... thanks! Looks like at least the AK 222 and 251 for me, will have to double check the Christmas envelopes and see if there's any funds left for more.

B.

Thanks Rob!

You're more than welcome chaps, happy to oblige.

And you thought Christmas was over mate!:wink2: Glad you got another dose of the Crimean and look forward to the pics!

Rob,

Thanks for your great job as usual in posting these and Happy New Year as well :smile2:

There are some very nice releases here. The Desert Hanomag looks great and, although not my thing, the Askaris look very well done.

Brad

The Wild West is certainly getting the treatment, comes from no where and has every indication of overtaking my MG, AE, IC, SOTE & LH series. OK I will play along. Good work Rob, no doubt your favourite time of the month, cheers, Robin.

Thanks Robin, those new Custer figures look terrific don't they.

Rob

Ascari are nice....But why always those green jackets for AK?....They were in kaki and all the tones of brown, maybe some pale green.....

Rob, I wish you a great 2013!
The only thing that really was new to me was the Normandy cafe, which I`ll certainly order. As for the other WWII releases, they were all previously known, and I liked them all too (AK, EA and LAH). Found the Askari interesting and very well made, but they`re not on my menu. Frankly, to make this dispatch more exciting I was expecting at least another WWII surprise besides the cafe...

And the very same to you Sentaapua! Hope 2013 is a great one for you.

Best

Personally I have my eye on the AK Flak gun & crew and the AK halftrack. The Normandie building looks interesting as does the 7th Cav Troopers. ^&cool

OK, this is a nit, but small arms are my "thing". Custer's troopers were armed with M1873 "Trapdoor" Springfield carbines, and M1873 Colt Single Action Army ("Peacemaker") revolvers. While I can't get a good look at the revolvers in the photos, the carbines carried by the figures appear to depict Spencers or Sharps. Definitely not Springfields.

Hey PA, I do agree re the Hanomag, don't have one of those so that is very welcome, I guess we may see other versions in the future.

Happy new year:smile2:

Rob ,

Got to say i am excited about the Afrika Korps Hanomag , think it looks great ! Such a classic piece of german equipment...I for one would love a grey , winter & ss one in my display case in the future...
Here's also hoping this early war revival from K&C also brings either a 35t or 38t , would even like to see another grey Pzkpfw 2...Happy New Year !

Hi Rob,

I actually think all 3 Africa corps look very nice, esp. the Hanomag I think the weathering and over all painting look very good, I think a winter hanomag/or even a camo would look sweet...Sammy

Yeah, the Hanomag is my first choice as well. Was thinking about buying two, and repaint one. Probably wait and see what other versions come out first.

Very nice piece!

It's an early version so historically it should come in grey and also in whitewash. Those were the colours in use when the early Hanomags were in use in France and Russia at the early stages of Barbarossa.

Very much agree guys, and Sammy you are right about the weathering on this hanomag, looks very well done indeed.

Not much for my collection on this month's dispatch. You gotta respect K&C for going far and wide for ideas such as the Italian colonial troops. I don't think many people would have seen that one coming. Just goes to show how global K&C's business is that something so off the mainstream radar gets produced. The pic of the lot for me is the Crimean regimental flagbearer, what a nice piece. ^&cool No concerns about picking up anything from the retirements list either. I patiently await future dispatches that I know will have items of interest ( ........and barely discernable over a crackling of radio static you can hear.......30 corps, 30 corps where are you?........we're barely holding on...........low on food and ammunition..........)
