Does anyone else have a K&C folder/file?.Over the years i have collected loads of flyers,pamphlets,price lists,etc.On top of this i have printed off loads of pics of the releases.I have two files in fact(so sad i know)one for WW2 stuff and one for WW1,Crimea and Napoleonic.These are really good for helping me decide my next purchases.The talk of the forthcoming book made me wonder if anyone else has their own source of K&C info?.

Hans, Larry, Brad and myself all keep files full of old K&C flyers, price lists, dealer dispatches, letters and faxes from Andy, and photographs. I used these references extensively in researching and drafting the book.

I hang on to all the dispatches and other promotional materials I receive from dealers. I have always done that for the items I collect mostly for the reasons you mention but also I feel they are good reference points for dios and when comparing prior releases to past ones- say the Panthers or Tigers or what not. I also feel that, and I know this is weird, but if the dealer took the time to give me the material, I should hang on to it.

I don't print stuff off the internet though as I only have a B&W printer.

Yes i agree with you.I keep everything K&C UK send me.Also as you say they are great for getting ideas for dio's.

I have one bin for K&C, one for Britain and one for everything else.

As Louis says, I've been collecting the brochures (pack rat that I am) and have also purchased them off of ebay. Joining the Collctors Club also allows you to get these brochures, plus I get extras from dealers (George, Shannon). What I don't have I've printed off Bill Sager's site (which are Louis' brochures). I tend to save the other things too. I've also retained the PMs or emails that Andy has sent me.

Brad,sounds like between you and Louis you must have a huge collection of this stuff.Hope a lot of it makes it into the book,i see it as another highly collectable area of K&C.

I also save every e-mail and fax from Andy (I also have a lot of invoices for stuff I have purchased directly from Andy).

I have 3, 3-ring binders and use clear plastic sleeves and insert all my brochures and collector editions.
This gives me quick access to All the K&C info, I just flip thru them to find what I'm looking for, I refer to it very regularly.

Fortunatly I do have most of the K&C paper stuff..
UNfortuntly I have moved 4Xs in 8 years so it's scatterd aboot like sheep drooppings on a hi'land road.
