We're coming up on the end of June and at least two(?) limited editions are still in the works for this year - so word must be coming down shortly on the first. Any guesses on what it is? Maybe a Tunisian Tiger or 88? Or something unexpected from WWI or Napoleonic era?

The Graf Zeppelin

No really, hows about a oh I don't know, maybe a DRAGON WAGON or a BEDFORD LORRY. One can always hope. ;)

Hi Michael,

What a great choice! Why didn't I think of that one? :D

At the proper scale, how big would the Graf Zeppelin be and how much display space would it require?

Warmest personal regards,

Pat ;)

LZ 127 was 776 feet in length, thats 25 feet 10 and 1/2 inches in 1:32. What a monster that would be.

Those three little spots are airplanes hovering around the Graf Zeppelin over Chicago in 1933.

How about using the Opal truck frame for a fuel truck to with the new RamJagger. Add a two or even three man crew and still keeep it under $150!
(I hate it when my finger stutters).

That is a really cool idea! Andy has only done a British RAF Bedford QL Fuel Bowser and an RAF groundcrew in the past . A luftwaffe fuel truck and groundcrew would be awesome, especially considering that the new aircraft range from very affordable polystone (the RamJagger) through moderately priced wood (the Storch) to extraordinarily high quality expensive wood (the Typhoon, ME110, FW190, etc.) so would appeal to collectors of all budgets.

I have seen the Bedford Lorry's in the dramatic scene section of the K&C home page and pictures of the fuel bowser, why or why can't we get a regular production Bedford Lorry:confused: The experience is there, the molds may need adaption to a different model but come on...Please.:)

Andy did a wood Bedford QL Fuel Bowser (which was available as a regular production piece for a couple of years, but did not sell well - maybe 30 ever sold), and made resin and metal prototypes of a Bedford QL Radio Command Vehicle (2 made, one north west europe, one 8th army) and a Bedford Troop Transport Lorry (3 sold, one 8th Army, one dunkirk, one late war minnie mouse black on green camo). For whatever reason, he chose not to put these pieces into production, and sold the prototypes to collectors. However, with the success of the Opal, I would bet that a Bedford Troop Transport Lorry with see through windows and interior cab detail must be in the works.
