First Legion Figure Size? (1 Viewer)

That's because people rarely point out specifics and usually argue in generalities that may mean nothing to most collectors. By giving an example like you have on the Panzer Assault Badges, you have made the point clear enough so even a dunderhead can understand. :smile2: Much better than calling items names where people can get upset. With a good example, it's not an attack but a presentation of observable fact that is difficult to refute.

Hi Terry ,
Thanks for understanding what I was trying to do . I'm certainly not bad mouthing anything or anyone's collection but just trying to highlight one of the reasons I spend thousands of dollars more on First Legion then what collectors who choose something else do. For me the devil is in the details , I always look at potential new figures for my collection using three points , 1)The research( did they do their homework) ,2) the quality of the sculpt( that is , is the detail in the figure or is it painted on and three 3)the painting of the figure itself (shading , detail , weathering , transition ect ect... ) . IMO First Legion do a pretty good job in all respects , are they perfect ... NOPE no one is or ever will be. But I enjoy my collection tremendously and isn't that what it's all about .thanks again.. regards & happy collecting Gebhard

Gebhard after looking at the photos I felt the same about the detail on the fl figures and then had a look at my collection and thought how well my KC Luftwaffe and RAF stuff looked in there own right but my favourite figures are my FL German stalingrad

HI ,
I'm a fan of KC's RAF line as well, I really liked the bomb disposal team dio Rob made and have said as much reminded me of that Foyle's War episode which I loved as well. The shear amount of figures k&C produce in this topic is amazing it will be interesting to see if First Legion ever do a Battle of Britain line. As of yet my favorites are the same as yours but with the upcoming Waffen SS figures that may be changing for me... I'm a sucker for good camo and that looks GREAT all IMO of course :wink2:. regards Gebhard

Agree there plenty of choice out there but with prices in general across the board going up people are looking for better detail in there figures and that where Fl win hands down , people say fl figures are taller and thinner but to me there body proportion look right .just my personal buying opinion :smile2:

Hi ,
I totally agree with both points , with the second I guess it just depends on what your comparing them too :wink2:. regards Gebhard

I think the key point here is that they are proportional to actual body dimensions. Of course that does vary but given that most figures are based on averages, there is little doubt that FL's dimensions are quite accurate. If that matters to you, as it does to me, they are a great choice.
