I am not sure if anyone started this yet but.. anyone have any suggestions on what you would like to see made in this line. My first pick would be union Zauves. Can never have enough union Zauves!!

Since the Zauves are so special, they should come out later. More traditional figures should be released first.

My main hope is just for some creative and hardcore combat poses.

However, my guess is that the second batch will just mirror the first (Non-combat Union with 4-5 historical figures).

I’m more curious about when than what. When I first started collecting I was surprised there was no Civil War series. I would have thought Civil War would be second only to WWII and that such popularity would warrant frequent new releases. I’d love to see a ranking of the different series by sales.

On second thought, I do have another request for the next batch…darken up the colors. The first batch seemed a bit too colorful and bright to me. Did they really wear yellow shirts and pants? Even the horses are a bit shiny and lightly colored, particularly Nathan Bedford Forest’s horse. I prefer the darker horses.

When I saw the confederates I thought they did not look right. Robert E. Lee lookes alright but the cavalry flagbearer has to much piping. There is no butternut in any of the figures.

I think thats a very good idea.I would like to see a table listing most popular ranges.I do seem to remember a while back someone in the know(sorry name slips me)saying that after a surge in popularity a few years ago when the tv Civil war series was on,the ACW is now not as popular as it once was.I really like the look of this range but can't afford it on top of everything else.

Towards the end they wore anything they could including the uniforms of both sides. Butternut would be nice. The next guys I make will be that color.

Still voting for Zouaves:D

There's a history for K&C doing Zoaves. If you look on the glossy K&C thread on the Traditional Glossy Soldiers sub-forum, you will see photos of a set of advancing Union Fire Zoaves and Confederate Louisiana Tiger Zoaves. There are two different advancing privates (one with a stocking cap [union] or straw hat [Louisiana] and one with a kepi) and an officer with a pistol and sword. They were very nice figures for the period of production (circa 1990-1994). So you might just see your Zoaves again.

Louis

We certainly need some action figures !!

I cant wait to see what Andy will create for this range - It should be some outstanding stuff !! :D
