Any News? (1 Viewer)

I don't think we'll get news of upcoming releases until last months releases have arrived at the dealers.

Dealers shipping new product but no new releases yet.....maybe today?
Or maybe JJD is waiting for first of month.......perhaps using K&C new release model.

...if JJD is waiting until last months releases start hitting the shelves...and our collections....then I guess it will happen soon....the new Royal Ecossois Officer arrived with me today.....a welcome addition to the Jacobite range that is crying out for lots of further releases....

More additions to the Jacobite range would be very welcomed by this collector, and many others I would expect.

The last I heard some additional British for the Ticonderoga range were forthcoming. Some more British cavalry for Culloden were the only other additions at this time for the Jacobite series.
I also think some more French line infantry, in action, for the Peninusalar Campaign will be released soon. Oh yes, Austrians for the Leuthen series should be out soon.

That sounds very promising, becasue we have already seen one of the painted figures, so bring them on ....

I hope that John releases them in a 4 box set, like other recent groups, and that way we shall get a fine firing line, and at a really good price :)

Message to dealers from John on 23 SEPT was as follows :

Due to the amount of sales for the new French and Indian War sets, I have had to increase the production, which has resulted in some production delays.

Therefore I will be shipping the new releases for September, from October 2nd.

JJD is leader in the FIW, he made well to come back strongly on this topic before someone else starts to grind similar sets. The four figure sets are winners!

thanks for this tidbit...I'm not surprised really...FIW collectors have been starved for Indians for a really long time...it is so refreshing that John revisits his "roots"...this is "his market"...I wish he would expand on it...he is the King of Indians...I wish he would rule his kingdom stronger on the Indians...lol...

I agree on the Indians although shouldnt it be Chief not King.

Down under JJ's Indians are amongst his better sellers and good to see them making a comeback. If only the Indians
had learnt to do drill and marched in nice columns and fought in ranks. However I guess they would not have been
Indians if they had done that !
