Just recently finished painting some more figures with a western theme, not really a dio, but I thought I'd put a little story together to supplement the pictures.......
The Year is 1844, the Meeks just one family of thousands of settlers migrating westward along the Oregon trail..............
Elijah Joseph Meeks

His Wife Charlotte and youngest Daughter Elizabeth

Eldest Daughter Harriet

Their Journey over 2000 miles of wilderness, enduring bad food, worse weather, disease, hardship and fatigue

They leave in May from Independance, Missouri, all for a new and better life in the west.

The specs:- Figures are metal castings by Sanderson, and the wagon is plastic by CTS.
