These figures were going to part of a diorama 30 years ago but were packed away through 3 moves. I have no room for a diorama as one for all of these would have to be. The figures now can serve in temporary dioramas. I added 1" washers to the bases to help these figures stand up better when posing for photos.

Well saved Scott! Excellent idea for adding stability to the figures - adding a washer and then texturing and painting looks just fine. Adds surface area and weight to the base stand Good job. jb

Imrie Risley.....started painting them 50 years ago and between ACW and AWI probably have 1000 figures.
They have been stored away for years having opted for makers such as TedToy, Trophy, Britains, CS and K&C.
Just got tired of gluing and painting my own figures. They were, however, great sculpts and very affordable.

Great job on the IR figures, Scott. Had many of them myself, back in the old days when I painted my own. Nicely done. -- Al

Some nice figs there Scott......And those 30 year old paint jobs stack up rather well against the modern day factory paintjobs.
In fact at first glance they look like Conte/Britains.

I especially like your work on the flags, Scott! Great classic figures!

Prost!
Brad
