Has anyone seen the 2009 movie Lebanon? I just saw it the other night. It is intense and unique. It focuses on an Israeli tank crew fighting during the 1982 Lebanon war whose only view of the outside is seen through a gunsight.

Jason, never seen it but I would suggest another movie about a tank and crew call 'The Beast'. It's about a Russian tank crew in Afghanistan that shoots up a village and is then pursued by the villager's in a vendetta. It is also very intense and quite well done. -- Al

Yes, I saw it. Pretty good movie, tank is the Merkava and the puking scene within really messes up the inside.

I really do recommend it, and now that you mention it, it does have a Das Boot feel about it.

Yes, I saw it. Pretty good movie, tank is the Merkava and the puking scene within really messes up the inside.

It is a CENTURION tank - not a Merkava {sm4}

I watched it 3 times so far - go for the bluray version - you will not be disappointed :salute::
