Hello all seasoned and not so seasoned collectors. Im new to the forum and collecting as well and would just like to say hello.
I have started with Winter WWII. I am planning on making a Battle of the Bulge diorama. I just acquired a Winter Tiger(440/999), German Tanks Rider, Winter Warrior 1 and 2, a M10 TD, and 3 other American sets. I also have a M18 Hellcat that my parents got me when they went to England in 2005.I look forward to going into other themes later, but for now i must complete the Diorama. Any suggestions how to make trees and landscapes(mountains, trees, and snowy floors). Oh and one more thing is looked down upon if one paints a item, i really want a winter king tiger.

For my Winter German diorama - I used White Felt Cloth as a base (with glitter) and then put the fake snow on top of it. It helps you save your fake snow and you dont need to use that much of it. You mainly use the fake snow for the corners and cracks in between your felt cloth and you use the fake snow on trees and buildings.
Also the White Felt gives your base of diorama a real look to it with the glitter and the fake snow.

A Winter King Tiger would be a cool addition to go alonside the Winter Tiger.
No King Tigers on the market at the moment so It may be a possibility in the nearish future I guess.
Hello Ron,
Could we have some pics of your winter DIO?
Welcome to the forum Richard.

I will post it soon - I just need to get two more items for it and it will be complete. I have been sideline a little on buying Toy Soldiers due to my wedding coming up - but dont worry we will be on track in Sept.
