I was wondering if anybody else was hoping, wishing and praying for more buildings from K&C. It frustrating seeing these fantastic products used in their dioramas that are not available for purchase. Having the K&C Workshop custom make something is too expensive and although I appreciate the 3rd party stuff... it’s not official K&C product. I’m a little surprised that more buildings aren’t made considering how many new vehicles and tanks are produced. I wish I had been in the hobby when that fantastic Roman Fort was available.

This brings up a second issue. Is this forum Andy’s primary source for hearing the voice of the customer? If so, it’s not a very efficient means. He would really have to peruse through a lot of forum chit chat to filter out the suggestions and other feedback.

Anyway, if Andy Claus reads this, I’ve been good all year and would love to see more buildings that could be used as headquarters, like the French Farmhouse but bigger, more elaborate and around the $200-$300 range. Perhaps customizable with flags. A strictly-limited building would be very cool, too!

Hi Kurt

I agree - a few more buildings and dio accessories from K+C would be lovely, more to collect of course, so even harder on the wallet, but nice to have - after all the buildings they have already done are very nice indeed.

Defo, because K&C's buildingz are superbly detailed and I think they go great with the figures for size too:D:D:D:D:D:d

they need to make some sort of trench for WWI when they release the fighting poses. If they realease fighting poses

The Berlin buildings were great and reasonably priced. There may still be some around with a few dealers. The perception that they did not sell well or were too heavy to ship is questionable based on the response of the dealers who chimed in when this was last discussed. More of those types of buildings would be welcome.

There are some great buildings being made by Nick (Morbshack)that are perfect sized for K/C stuff....I have 3 to date and they are well crafted.....He custom built these to my ideas. Michael

I think Andy intends to build some kind of buildings to meet some of your needs, although what that may be or when hasn't exactly been made clear.

As a retailer I really like the buildings and diorama accessories. Whilst they may not sell as much as say a German vehicle they make the shop displays look very good and this encourages purchases as the customer can see the range in diorama settings. I still have the Normandy Village buildings (not for sale) but would not part with them for this reason. Like the farm house and courtyard sets as very adaptable
Certain buildings such as the Berlin ruin are expensive to ship because of the weight. I would like to see more like the Normandy village items which could fit in with WWI/WWII. Am looking forward to the building shown in the WWI series flyer.
Some small wall sections like in the previous American Civil War range would be good.
Regards
Brett

I agree with everyone on how great K&C Buildings look !

I would hope that Andy would return to some of his creative thinking that he had in the early stages of the WWII releases - things like the NV - WWI French Monument - I love that and still looking to pick one up. Also the village itself - I would buy each part if it ever came available.

With so many new ranges coming on to the market - hopefully there will be some diorama pieces to compliment them as well.

Andy had a discussion with me in confidence at the last Symposium on this subject. All I can say is Andy intends to do somthing that will make the posters on this thread very happy. Its just a matter of finding the right factory. Andy's ideas were innovative, and when produced will provide a very versitile series of buildings/diorama materials. As usual in this hobby, Andy had anticipated the desires of collectors, so just hang in there. Also, he doesn't tell me everything, so Andy may already have found a factory, and these new buildings/diorama materials may be one of the surprises he has in store for us at Chicago.

I think Louis knows more than he is telling us ;)......

So, lets go to NY - grab him and take him to a little place I know off the tip of Cuba and see if we can loosen his tounge

Taking a guess, I think it woll be wood pieces which join together to form whole buildongs:D:D:D:eek:

Oh secretz:cool:

Kurt - I think the Strictly limited Building idea is GREAT! It could be more attention to his already solid diorama lineup. Chalk me up for one :)

I don't know if it was top secret but I won't say anything.

I am as big of a fan of Andy's diorama accessories than anyone, but my question is are you guys looking for accessories and buildings in general or specifically from K & C?

The reason I ask is Formtech, Conte, Hobby Bunker, Barszo, CTS, etc, all make some terrific buildings in lightweight foam similar to Andys' 8 piece Normandy Village (IMO, the best single display I have ever seen, actually second best, his Arnhem Bridge was incredible).................

George,

That foamtech stuff is great if, like you, you have the talent to paint it and make it look as realistic as the figures. However, for guys like me with neither the time nor the talent to do so, finished buildings, like a three-D version of the French Farmhouse facade (which did come with a 3-D courtyard) are preferable. I would prefer it if the cool buildings with different facades on either side Andy displayed on the website a couple of months ago were mass produced for sale.

No offense, but I'm not a big fan of the foamtech stuff. Maybe it's just the feel but I don't like it. I like the feel of the K & C stuff. Just in case you think I'm biased because it's K & C, Frontline has some nice buildings as well.
