Hi Arnhem,
You are probably right about the 105th Ligne, however these figures could also be used to depict any French line Regt. at Waterloo by their "Generic" appearance . Apart from the Eagle bearer, I am pretty sure that the Regt. number doesn't appear on the other figures.
Regards,
Johnboy.

Thanks mate this is great news!

Can add them to my Waterloo dio then!

Hi to all from a newbie !

Arnhem, I'm certainly no expert, but I think the casualty set represent members of the Flank companies, Red Epaulettes for the Grenadiers and Green for the Voltiguers. Though I would of thought that the Pompom for the Grenadier would be a Red plume and not a Blue Pompom

The Drummer in the other new set I think this one is for the 2nd Fusilier company due to the Blue Pompom.

As to which Regiment they belong as the previous Treefrogger says looks to be Generic and I hope Britains will bring out a few other Regiments Eagle standards in the future.

Hope this helps.

Steve

Steve is right about the casualties.

As to the differences in uniform between regiments, they did exist, but only in certain parts of the uniform and only between certain regiments. The primary differences are in the shakos. Shako plates should always be different between regiments, but this may not always be apparent when the style of plate is the same (though Britians does a good job of still including the different numbers on the plate.) Here is an example of different styles of shakos from First Legion:

As you can see, the accessories are also different.

One nice thing that Britains has done is to use shako covers. This makes it possible to use the figures for more regiments.

Anybody picked up the casualty set?

Wmhow does it compare to previous releases?

Hi Scott
Even though I had two sets on preorder I guess because I also have other Naps not due out until April they are hanging onto them until then !
Frustrating !
Steve

Hi Scott
Had two sets come today and they fit in very nicely. (Not the ones I'm still waiting, but you need a fair few casualties for the Battlefield !)
I would still like to see some Fusilier company casualties though to go with the previous Britain's Fusilier releases.
Going by these figures we can expect Line Regiment Grenadiers and Voltigeurs.
But I hope Britain's haven't finished with Fusiliers yet.

Hi There,
I thought I would take a look here between moving pallets of soldiers around in the new warehouse.

I have several new Fusilier figures here that I have been working on along with a few new Voltigeurs. I wanted to move some of the older Fusiliers through the system before I added new ones and we are at that point now. I also have a few more British Infantry to round things out for a bit later in 2016.

More soon...
All the best,
Ken

Great news ken, I look forward to their release, later in the year.
I would like to see another Fusilier marching figure, as I'd like to put together a (small) Column, though only have managed to purchase a few of the marching Fusiliers, though a fair few of the march attack Fusiliers.
Oh and I'd love a marching Drummer without greatcoat and a standard bearer for the 45th Regiment.

Whilst you did release some figures representing the 1st Light Regiment a few years ago, is there hope of a release for the 13th Light regiment assaulting La Haye Saint in the future ?

Regards
Steve
