I once had a patient who had jumped into Normandy on the night of D-1. The sight that stayed with him all his life was not the dead troops but the dead horses!

Dessicated corpses? You have to be kidding, that would be a terrible idea . If we want to make this completely realistic, how about a few severed corpses, a headless soldier, a burning tanker trying to escape a burning tank. At what point do you stop?

I had that model. It was macabre, and funny the driver still in his seat, and the officer in the back still giving the Nazi salute. It wasn't meant to be taken seriously. I think what we're talking about here strikes a different note.
