:) Couldn't see the Close-up Photo's of Collectors Showcase ARNHEM Sets? Does anybody have any Photo's? Are they Comparable with Andys NEW Arnhem Set?

The vehicles seem nice and well done but the figures are, in my opinion, horrible. They still have that ghoulish quality.

Wasn't there talk of softening the features of the figures a while back?.

Ther vehicles are incredible, except for the fact that the guns were way too long. Sadly, the scale is way off, they are 75mm at least. The proprietor indicated he made them larger to allow for shrinkage, but, as they are primarily metal, I don't think they will have the same shrinkage problem as polystone vehicles do.

The figures are horrible, an absolute D- to F, There was one, for example, whose shins went as high as the top of his thighs should have been. Then faces were hideous, and the poses were more theatrical then Conte at his most Hollywood.

If you are a vehicle afficionado, I would definitely buy the Afrika Corps Panzer I (with a hinged turret hatch and interior turret detail), the SKDFZ 232 Armored Car (with hinged butterfly half-turret covers), and the self-propelled gun, all three of which were of a quality nearly equal to Figarti's fantastic vehicles.

How would you compare their Panzer I to the Prieto AK conversion? Are the scales similar?

No, the scales are way off (like 1:24 scale for Collector's showcase, 1:30 scale for K&C Prieto conversion). That being said, if you don't care about scale, the collector's showcase Panzer I is a AA++, the K&C is around an A-.

I was at the chicagoshow and have sent you some photo's .
