Are we going to see that cart next
These figures are must haves.

Funny thing this week.

I had my German clients in for the big AUSA Military Show in Washington - they came by my office and saw my Curio Cabinet & my WW1 figures marching with the Kaiser Car and individual figures. They really loved it !

Imperial Germany is OK to collect with the PC government of Germany today - from what they told me - but deep down they still love their PANZERS !!

It's sorry to see that K&C is running out of creative poses. I can see 50% of the figures bear ressemblance to the poses of the Napoleonic French line infantry... Anyone feel the same way?

I am not sure I agree. I mean how many different ways can you shoot a rifle or die ;) But, there can always be more different poses I guess ?

I feel that many of King and Countrys poses are to static. While I do not want Hyper realism I think that king and country could become mor action orientated like it was in the past. I was hoping for amazing Arnhem poses but they all seem on patrol and boring.:(

I'd have to agree - the poses both here and in the new Arnhem releases, are pretty uninspiring. As someone else on Treefrog observed, the poses of the Germans firing and the officer pointing are copied straight out of the old WS038 and 039 (perhaps why those sets are being retired this month?).

I think the new W. Britains German maxim machine gun team, and indeed their whole WW1 lineup, is more impressive.

I knd of agree but K&C can do excellent action figures.
The favourites in my collection are the Fields of Battle British in action. They have really fluid poses and look very realistic whereas some of the Arnhem poses look a bit stiff.
I guess it all depends on the sculptor.

I have the first FOB Brit figures(retreat from Dunkirk)and although they are not action figs i think they are superb.I think James is right about the action poses in FOB,this is a range that gets better and better.

I also have the first Brit FOB figures. Have been valiantly resisting the French ones but now that I've actually seen that 75 artillery piece, my resolve is rapidly crumbling. Just like their army did in 1940 come to think of it......:eek:

I need to make an MP3 subliminal message and play it over and over.
Stick to the plan Heid, stick to the plan......Naps and Crusaders next.
:D:D:D

Cheers

Yeah, there's nothing to complain about in the FOB poses. They all look great.

CS,
Maybe you didn't see this suggestion in a different post - how about using the dead french guy and sign that comes with the grey stug with the 75 gun? I reckon this would work okay with a few of the "action" french guys thrown in as well.

Cheers
