When I first started collecting metal TS, I saw these in a catalog and thought these were neat, especially the drummer with that aggressive stance. Is the other guy holding a bugle or a broken sword?

A bugle. What catalog did you see them in? I have never come across a catalog with their figures in it.

I would have to dig really deep to find the catalogs, but I think it was this guy in New York who would sell these combined maker plastic playsets that were really expensive. Maybe Classic Toy Soldiers? Something like that. Or could be Castle Imports? Could even be Michigan Toy Soldiers. If I find it, I'll take a photo and post it here.

Thanks, much appreciated. I am fairly confident that it wasn't Stone Castle Imports and I don't recall seeing it on Michigan Toy Soldiers website, either. Can't say regarding Classic Toy Soldiers.

Looked around and found some old catalogs. Not Classic Toy Soldiers, but called The Toy Soldier Company. Found my Stone Castle Imports, but none of these had those soldiers. I'm fairly confident now, it was in the Michigan Toy Soldier catalog, but I can't find it. Give me a week, cause once the work week starts, I won't have time. Will keep looking.

Ok, that would be great. I never saw a Michigan Toy Soldier catalog before, only their website. If you find it, can you check and see if they also carried Bastion Models?
