This past Saturday, the Southern California Toy Soldier Collectors Society met at Bob Phillips house in Portola Hills, California, to view his collection. We then drove six blocks to see Neal Crowley's collection. By the way, one of the large wild fires, Santiago Canyon, broke out on Sunday very near both their houses.
I don't know much about Heyde figures, but I am told that Bob's collection contains many rare sets. I do know that his presentation and display was marvelous. Heyde was known for vignettes of unusual subjects.
