After going to the TSS in Chicago, my good mate from Australia TomNT came back with me to GA to visit for a week or so. We had a chance to visit several museums the last week or so.

Following are some photos from some of our trips:

First here is me, Andy and Tom at the Chicago show

Second is Tom checking out the realistic looking troops at the Infantry museum Fort Benning Georgia

Great stuff Duke!^&cool^&cool^&cool^&cool Tom is heading up the coast and should reach my neck of the woods next Monday. He will be staying at my house, and I will take him to the American Armor Museum, the American Airpower Museum, the Cradle of Aviation Museum and the Intrepid if he likes . . . or the Metropolitan Museum of Art, the Museum of Natural History, etc. . . .

Hey Duke

Thanks for posting the pic's mate, they are awesome and I'm already missing hanging out with you. Great memories and thanks again to you and your wife Cynthia for putting up with me while I stayed in Thomasville. As you know I have stacks of pic's from Chicago and our travels together. I also have stacks more pic's (and more to come) from my travels since I left your neck of the woods. I'm still travelling so I will have to post them when I get back home in Australia.

Hello Tom. It was great to see you again this year and to have you here with us for a few days. I hope your travels across the USA will be enjoyable. I'm looking forward to seeing some of your pictures when you have time to post. Be safe my friend.

Tom arrived in my neck of the woods Monday Evening. I picked him up from the airport, took him home for a dinner made by my lovely wife Meredith in his honor, then gave him a tour of my collection. Tuesday he went off-roading in my Jeep, had a huge steak lunch at Bryant & Cooper (the steakhouse where we usually have the parting lunch after the Symposium), had a ride in my friend's Rolls, then went to the Cradle of Aviation Museum at the old Mitchell Field (later renamed Roosevelt Field after Kermit Roosevelt, Theodore's son, who died in aerial combat in WWI, where Charles Lindbergh took off on his famous transatlantic flight). Today he is doing the Statue of Liberty and the World Trade Center museum. Here are a few photos of Tom:

Thanks for posting the pic's Louis and also a big thank you to you and your wife Meredith for putting me up in your lovely home in Roslyn Harbor. I have had an awesome time and thoroughly enjoyed my time in your neck of the woods. I'm also relieved that I didn't bend your flash jeep! You'll have to give it a wash soon though as the NY crowd will think you are an outback bushy... ^&grin

I have taken another bunch of pic's from my stay in NY and will post them when I get back home in Oz.

Howard young digger, we will have plenty to talk about when I get back home in Oz. I hope your foot is better and the good wife is also up and about.

Looks like you had a good time in NY with Louis Tom. I'm just catching up on the thread as we haven't had power for several days due to hurricane Michael. Just got power back this AM.

Duke,

I’m glad to hear you got your power back! Hope everything and everyone is okay in your neck of the woods, my friend!🙂

That's great news Duke, glad the power is back on after that bad blow. I'm also glad we chatted yesterday so I knew you and the family are ok.
