Hi Louis,

Wonderful diorama with pieces that I had not seen before. You have a fab collection. I like how you incorporated into a city scene. Love that bridge and raft! Great stuff.

Next the Panzers, self-propelled guns and towed artillery …

Rob,

The base and bridge were one of the first K&C Custom dioramas, I asked Andy to make me a European version of the Streets of Old Hong Kong Dockside Quays and Bridge. The Buildings are the "Backlot Buildings" K&C did with the launch of the Arnhem Range, except for the City Wall, which is a Great Wall Gateway from the K&C Silk Road Range. The vehicles are the resin and metal Kubelwagon, resin and metal SkdFz 8 Rad (8 Wheeled Armored Car), Wood and Metal Hanomag, Wood and Metal Tiger, Resin and Metal 8 Ton Halftrack pulling an 88mm Gun, wood and metal Stug III, Resin and Metal Hanomag and Resin and Metal Jagdpanther. The motorcycles and figures are also vintage K&C, including the rarest of all matt figures, the original matt Tank Crew (depicted standing next to the parked Kubelwagon).

One of the fun things about the Symposium is letting newer collectors see how Andy got his start on 17 of his and Gordon's custom dioramas.:salute::

Thanks for sharing Louis. Your collection of older and rare pieces is amazing. :salute::

Rob,

You are welcome to come see it all in person, the weekend of March 22-24th at the Symposium!{sm4}
