It is April 1776 and a lone piper of the 42nd Highland Division (The Black Watch) walks along the banks of Loch Laggan prior to the division's departure for America on May 1st. (K&C BR028 retired).

FYI--the background is a location shot for one of my favorite BBC series Monarch of the Glen.

Sniff, magnificent photo, sniff, sniff, sob, boo-hoo.......
I slag off Modern Scottish politics something rotten, but there's just something about the skirl of the pipes and the land itself that stirs the soul.....:eek::eek::eek::cool::cool:

Take a tip from Sir Sean. Live in the Bahamas but keep a suite of rooms in a fancy hotel in Edinburgh.Then you have the best of both worlds.

That's a good idea Damian. I'll give you a shout when I win the lottery. You can set yourself up in Edinburgh while I'm in the Bahamas - and you can live in the Bahamas whenever I feel the need to visit Scotland.
:D:D:rolleyes::rolleyes:
In my dreams.......:cool:

Thailand ??

Heid - What are you doing in Thailand ?? :confused:

Looking for a new Missus Heid.....:D:D:D
Naaa.....I'm actually offshore at the moment, supposed to be working. Its 99.9% likely that I'll be transferring permanantly to our Thailand operations in future on a 4-week on/4-week off deal. Refer to the nonsense in my "Building The Winter Diorama" thread in the HOW TO Diorama section for an update on the fun I'm having.
:):):)
