I just received this email from Tradition of London (TOL). Sorry that I am not tech savvy.

TOL is rearranging how, where and who!
The stockroom in Stockholm will close and remain!
The Toy Soldier Sets painted and unpainted with all larger figures 54,90 and 110 will be produced as today by Jon @ RP Worlds Models web page; https://toy-soldiers.store
Jon will also take over the sale and shipping

The War-game figures, the Swedish Model Soldiers and Magazine/ books will be taken over by a Swedish collector if all goes to plan, will work as today no change, more info to follow!

ToL will split in two, one part to UK and one remains here in Stockholm

I will keep working mostly with web, from now on sell what we do have in stock in Stockholm, what you can not find here! you find @ https://toy-soldiers.store

Yeah, I got it, too, as a Tradition customer. It doesn't help that the email is rather poorly or hastily written. It's the same text currently showing on Tradition of London's landing page.

RP Worlds Models has been advertising sets of painted Tradition toy soldiers for a while now, on Facebook, and probably on their own website, too. I don't think I've visited RP Worlds Models more than once, though I do follow their Facebook page. It sounds like Tradition has contracted to have RP Worlds Models do their painting now. Also, the note about selling what's in stock in Stockholm also references RP Worlds Models' website.

It sounds as though there's no change for us customers, though, otherwise. I shot off a reply to Magnus to ask about the impact on us customers. I'll share any info I can.

Prost!

Like many others I also got this message.
Contacted Jon at RP Model World ---- as his web page looks "very similar" to The Tradition of London one, don't know what it looked like before, and when when I tried to open my account details, it was not recognised. Went through the "forgotten password procedure", and did not get an e-mail prompt. So sent Jon an e-mail asking if it will be necessary to register again. Also asked some questions about availability of some accessories and will he accept painting commissions. Will let people know when I get a reply.
Always slightly apprehensive about change overs. Also well aware of the Lindstrom connection over many years with Tradition.

I wonder if this has anything to do with Brexit, and as the figures were being made in UK, but sold from EU, so it could be a tax problem for Magnus in Sweden? Now having the whole making and selling in UK could be better, especially for UK collectors??

I have visited RP World Models in Nottingham on a number of times on my travels in UK, mainly because we stay with one of our relatives who lives close by, and I've rally enjoyed seeing the production of Tradition figures, as well as rummaging around in the boxes of castings and finding some gems to bring home, paint on to join my collection.

I hope that visiting can still be achieved with the new maker Jon, like it was with Bob Prati, but who knows when we will be able to travel again :( :(

I purchased a set of Tommies from Jon a few weeks back. Arrived in record time from the UK and he's incredibly helpful and responsive.

I received a reply from Magnus, who confirmed that there should be no impact to Tradition customers.

My own opinion: Having to create a new login is a minor inconvenience. As long as there is no change to the availability of the product, that's the most important thing.

Prost!

That sounds like it will be 'business as usual' just like the other changes that have happened while I have been dealing with Tradition over the past 20 years.
