The Platinum Jubilee of Elizabeth II is being celebrated in 2022 in the Commonwealth to mark the 70th anniversary of the accession of Queen Elizabeth II on 6 February 1952

Throughout Great Britain and the Commonwealth there will be celebrations of this special occasion over the coming year.
Being Toy Soldier Forum I thought that I'd like to invite members to submit images of figures in their collection of this very special lady.

These ones are not mine, but figures that I have painted for other collectors:

When Her Majesty visited Australia for her Silver Jubilee in March 1977 I was in the Army Reserve and we provided the gunfire Royal Salutes.

We fired three of them during her stay in Perth,


First was on arrival into the Port of Fremantle on the Royal Yacht Britannia,
then a city salute from King Park and finally the departure from Australia at the Airport.

Nice figures, I don't remember Britains making the bottom figures though ?

That figure was a casting I was given to paint for a local collector. It was stamped underneath 'Britains 1999'
I think it was bought from RP World in Nottingham and I can remember going there and seeing boxes of pre 2000 castings there after Britains was sold off.

Although I have long departed from my Trooping the colour sets...Your call for a rememberance of this remarcable event ( The platinum Jubilee...and remembering that I also was part of the Silver Jubilee ... brought many fond memories ) and the colourful paegentry that will happen within the Commonwealth during 2022, has lead me to look for some pics and share them...

I've got two figures depicting HM. One is a K&C depiction of a young Princess Elizabeth during the Second World War. The second is a Britains ceremonial figure (far in the back with some other Royals).
